The difference between doing what you love and doing something you hate. Between I’VE GOT TO, and I GET TO! That’s the difference! - Between I GOT TO, and I GET TO. That’s the difference. Most people are working for a living, very few are LIVING for their work. LIVING for their vision. LIVING their purpose. It’s not work when you love what you do. You could put down 80 hours, 100 hours a week, no problem, because there’s a level of excitement, of passion and desire to always create and improve when
you’re going after something you’re passionate about. Once you get to that point then it will no longer be work. - Make a plan. - Work towards LIVING FOR YOUR WORK. Work towards WORKING for your PURPOSE. Create a life you don’t need a vacation from. That’s the goal. - THERE’S A BETTER LIFE WAITING FOR YOU - JUST DECIDE! - COMMIT! - AND FOLLOW THROUGH!
For me, that love and passion that I live for is the Marine Corps. It’s been years since I legitimately did not look forward to the next day. Regardless of the situation or the weather or the place, deep down I was living for it and wouldn’t give it up for anything. Get out there and find a career that will make you feel the same way. -
This picture is of my last platoon and myself. One of the countless memories that I have from my time in.
To all the Marines and Sailors (mainly Docs) that I have come across throughout my career, thank you for everything, I wouldn’t love this career as much as I do if it wasn’t for you. - Semper Fidelis!
What’s the #1 thing that you miss/love about the Marine Corps?
