Makeup Review: Urban Decay Single Eyeshadows in 'Loaded' (bottom) and 'Lounge' (top).
I have enough single eyeshadows but, while I was swatching these ones in-store, I was super impressed by the formula and I decided to purchased these two blue shades. Loaded is a teal blue shade with a blackened base while Lounge is a gorgeous purple duochrome with a blue flip. The formula is incredible: these shimmers are smooth, even and super pigmented (one layer provides full opacity). Also, the consistency is somewhat thin but this does not interfere with the performance of the eyeshadows. These products are easy to apply on the lid and, in top of an eyeshadow primer, they last all day with minimal fading.
I'm a huge fan of this formula - which is surprising because I'm not a fan of the eyeshadow formulas in UD's Naked palettes. However, there are two cons. Firstly, I wish these single eyeshadows came without a compact (so I can add them to a magnetic palette) and, secondly, they are expensive (around R250 each). A close dupe for Lounge is Colourpop's Wishful Winking while a dupe for Loaded is Coloured Raine's Forbidden.
