We are home from the Happiest Place on a Earth! And it really was all that and more! ✨✨✨
I’ve shared a ton in my stories, but here is the highlight reel:
Magic Kingdom wins for most magical! Favorites were Seven Dwarves Mine Train, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain for the boys while Bippidi Boppidi Boutique worked their magic on little miss. Then dinner in the castle, during fireworks, was beyond amazing!
Epcot rides were SO fun. Test Track, Soarin!!! and Frozen. Kevin and I loved the Int’l Food & Wine Festival and could have stayed all day, but it was definitely more geared for adults.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was so worth it! Short ride lines, completely different vibe, Boo to You Parade was SO good, and the projections on the castle during the fireworks were seriously impressive! So many unique character sightings too!
Animal Kingdom was the dark horse! We weren’t sure what to expect, and I think it was my fave! Probably because, well, Avatar...😍😍😍 Enough said!!!! We also loved Expedition Everest, going on a safari and getting soaked in Kali River Rapids.
Finally Hollywood Studios. Umm, Star Wars Land?! Best land ever. The boys got to co-pilot the Millennium Falcon, and Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story land was another hit. Best part of all though?! Jedi Training and getting to fight Darth Vader himself! Video clips of that just posted in my stories.
Character meetings were a HUGE hit with Our little lady. I think she met 8 princesses, Mickey and the gang, Pooh and friends, Anna, Elsa & Olaf, Chewy, Rey, BB8, Vader, Kylo Ren and Mike & Sully. And I’m surely forgetting some one! 😬🤣🤷🏻♀️
OH! And if you have GF/DF allergy kid, or any allergies really, stop at Disney Springs when you get there and go to McKenna’s Bakery! It will save your entire trip! 💖
And if you need a planner...Becky @practicallyperfectadventures is your girl!!!! ❤️
And...that’s a wrap...now back to regular programming of fitness, inspiration and trying to find glimmers of magic in the mundane. ☺️
