Today marks the summer solstice and international yoga day. A day to celebrate the transition of a new season. If you know me well, you know that my love for yoga has evolved over the past decade or so. It's like a childhood friend: doesn't require constant attention to keep our bond strong, but will drop everything to help you when called upon. There have been many times of stress when I've dropped everything and come back to refocus, recharge, or rest.
I've taken a break from this friend when it comes to teaching publicly for quite some time. I let the identity and pressure of being a teacher grow stronger than being a student. This time has allowed me to redevelop my connection with yoga. I'm transitioning into a new chapter of what this friendship will look like and I can't wait to share with y'all along the way.
If you want to start a new/grow an old relationship with yoga OR your health, send me a message. I can be your friend that you call upon. Namaste 🙏
