NASA introduced new spacesuits It is able to support moon walks lasting up to 8 hours, plus one more hour of the resource is reserved for emergency situations, and is also designed for operation at temperatures from -157 ° С to +93 ° С. The spacesuit provides much more mobility than previous models, especially for the shoulders and arms of astronauts - they can even move their fingers in a spacesuit. Astronauts will be able to walk on the surface of the moon, and not jump. The new spacesuit does not have lightning and cables, which cosmonauts previously complained about. It is also better protected from radiation and the ubiquitous moon dust. After a half-century hiatus, NASA, according to the new lunar program, plans to send “the first woman and the next man” to the satellite of our planet by 2024, so the spacesuit suits both women and men.

- - - #spaceshuttle #nasa #space #hawking #fisica #astronomia #espacio #vialactea #carlsagan#spaceexploration #universe #cosmos #iss #astronaut #spacestation #galaxy #spacex #cosmos #nebulosa #agujeronegro #astrofotografia #quimica #neilarmstrong #luna #sol #marte #saturno #jupiter #neildygrassetyson

#Repost @beyond_the_shroud • • • • • • International Space Station Timelaps of a Soyuz capsule docking with the International Space Station - After Scott Kelly, Gennady Padalka and Misha Kornienko blasted off from Kazakhstan aboard their Soyuz spacecraft in the early morning hours of March 29, 2015, it took them six hours to reach the International Space Station. - Six hours doesn’t seem like much—barely a flight from New York to London. But New York to London is a trip of only 3,459 miles (5,567 km). The Soyuz crew had to make four complete revolutions of the Earth–putting a cool 100,000 miles (161,000 km) on the odometer, in a high-speed chase that, at the end, turned into a delicate dance. - This NASA footage shows the final 15 minutes of that approach, shot from the cockpit of the Soyuz. The clip has been sped up here, but even at that rate, it reveals what a precision job a rendezvous and docking is. - The spinning object in the foreground of the image is the Soyuz’s docking radar. The red light that flashes in the window midway through the clip is a reflection from the camera that is recording the approach. - -------------------------------------------------- ✔️ Like and share! 🛰️ Rp: @spaceiac 🚀 -------------------------------------------------- - - Video credit: @nasa #space #science #nasa #spaceshuttle #iss #atlantis #sts #discovery #spacex #falcon9 #launch #rocket #falconheavy #bfr #elonmusk #spacestation #starship #superheavy #america #usa #spaceshuttleenterprise #apollo #orbiter #apolloprogram #enterprise #sts #sls #rocketlaunch #spacecraft #beyondtheshroud

The Cygnus spacecraft is a single-use American automated cargo spacecraft developed by Orbital Sciences and now built and launched by Northrop Grumman as part of NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) developmental program. It is launched by Northrop Grumman's Antares rocket or ULA's Atlas V and is designed to transport supplies to the International Space Station (ISS) following the retirement of the American Space Shuttle. Since August 2000 ISS resupply missions have been regularly flown by the Russian Progress spacecraft, as well as by the European Automated Transfer Vehicle, and the Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle. With the Cygnus spacecraft and the SpaceX Dragon, NASA seeks to increase its partnerships with domestic commercial aviation and aeronautics industry. Cygnus is the Latinized Greek word for swan and a northern constellation. The Cygnus spacecraft consists of two basic components: the Pressurized Cargo Module (PCM) and the Service Module (SM). The PCM is manufactured by Thales Alenia Space in Turin (Italy). The initial PCMs have an empty mass of 1500 kg  and a volume of 18 m3. The service module is built by Orbital ATK and is based on their GEOStar and LEOStar spacecraft buses as well as components from the development of the Dawn spacecraft. It has a gross mass of 1,800 kg with propulsion provided by thrusters using the hypergolic propellants hydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide and is capable of producing up to 4 kW of electrical power via two gallium arsenide solar arrays. On November 12, 2009, Dutch Space announced it will provide the solar arrays for the initial Cygnus spacecraft. This ultraviolet image from NASA Galaxy Evolution Explorer is of a small area of the Virgo Cluster of galaxies. The Virgo Cluster is a cluster of galaxies whose center is 53.8 ± 0.3 Mly (16.5 ± 0.1 Mpc) away in the constellation Virgo. Comprising approximately 1300 (and possibly up to 2000) member galaxies, the cluster forms the heart of the larger Virgo Supercluster, of which the Local Group (containing our Milky Way galaxy) is a member. The Local Group actually experiences the mass of the Virgo Supercluster as the Virgocentric flow. It is estimated that the Virgo Cluster's mass is 1.2×1015 M☉ out to 8 degrees of the cluster's center or a radius of about 2.2 Mpc. Many of the brighter galaxies in this cluster, including the giant elliptical galaxy Messier 87, were discovered in the late 1770s and early 1780s and subsequently included in Charles Messier's catalogue of non-cometary fuzzy objects. Described by Messier as nebulae without stars, their true nature was not recognized until the 1920s. The cluster subtends a maximum arc of approximately 8 degrees centered in the constellation Virgo. Although some of the cluster's most prominent members can be seen with smaller instruments, a 6-inch telescope will reveal about 160 of the cluster's galaxies on a clear night. Its brightest member is the elliptical galaxy Messier 49; however its most famous member is the elliptical galaxy Messier 87, which is located in the center of the cluster. The cluster is a fairly heterogeneous mixture of spirals and ellipticals. As of 2004, it is believed that the spiral galaxies of the cluster are distributed in an oblong prolate filament, approximately four times as long as it is wide, stretching along the line of sight from the Milky Way. The elliptical galaxies are more centrally concentrated than the spiral galaxies. #dünya #spaceshuttle #plane #astronaut #interstellar #fizik #karanlıkmadde #spacecraft #gezegen #spacephotography #nasa #world #bunlarıbiliyormuydunuz #moon #robot #bilim #teknoloji #astronomi #space #science #technology #uzay #hubble #galaxy #ilginçbilgiler #faydalıbilgiler #güneşsistemi #bilimselgerçekler #deney

Legends never die!!!🚀🤩 Wernher Von Braun's masterpiece. The legendary rocket that brings mankind to the moon with Apollo 11 space shuttle. 🚀🔥🚀 The biggest rocket ever built. This giant rocket, which made its first flight in 1967, has a length of 110 m and a full weight of up to 3,000 tons. It spends 150 tons of fuel even on the ground to provide enough propulsion. 🥇🎆🥇 It was a wonderful experience to see closely, to imagine space travel. The rocket inside the space center is on display in a hangar in the rocket park. The entrance is free. Turkish🇹🇷 Wernher Von Braun'un baş yapıtı. Wuhuuu. Don't panic. I have a plaster.🤣 "Hey Houston, we've had a problem here." How many of us don't remember that sentence? While sometimes we cannot even solve our simple problems on earth, this is the place that solves the problems in the depths of space. 🚀🌍🚀 Johnson Space Center was a must when planning my trip to Houston. It is a complex that you will not be bored at all if you spend almost all day. There are many places to visit within the visitors center and there are many activities to attend. A complete paradise for space and aviation enthusiasts. 🛰🌎🛰 Entrance is about $30 for adults. You can buy your ticket directly on official web page of space center or you can buy it at the entrance door. It's a bit far from downtown Houston. Therefore, I suggest you come with your vehicle. They have a large outdoor parking lot and entrance is $5. Wishing to get lost in the depths of space and come back by solving problems. Houston downtown'a biraz uzak. Bu nedenle aracınızla gelmenizi öneririm. Büyük bir açık otaparkı var ve giriş 5$. Şimdiden uzayın derinliklerinde kaybolmak ve sorunları çözerek geri dönmek dileğiyle. #emrahontheway #travel #holiday #summer #usa #texas #houston #spacecenterhouston #johnsonspacecenter #nasa #spaceshuttle #boeing #cool #smile #love #fun #enjoy #relax #happy #smile #excited #adventure #amazing #explore #travelblogger #traveling #travelgram #instagood #instalike #instadaily #picoftheday @nasajohnson @spacecenterhou @boeing
